Here’s where you should go in Indonesia 🇮🇩 From the remote marine paradise Raja Ampat to the natural wonders of Sumatra, and the luxury resorts and adventures of Bali, these are islands you should visit based on your interests! ⬇️

Spanning over 17,00 islands along the equator, Indonesia is a tropical paradise.

Bali - Best all-around island for adventure, luxury resorts, culture, and beaches. The most-visited island in the Indonesian archipelago draws visitors to its perfect surf waves, ancient temples, volcano hiking, and so much more.

Raja Ampat - Best for biodiversity and marine wonders. Dive into the underwater paradise with manta rays and explore one of the most biodiverse areas of the world.

Gili Islands - Best for laid-back island vibes, sunsets, and sea turtles. The small islands are surrounded by white sand beaches and coral reefs. Stay at Gili T for more of a party vibe or Gili Air for relaxation.

After seeing a photo of the seaweed farms in the shallows around the trio of islands, I knew we had to visit. We took a 30-minute ferry from Bali’s Sanur Harbor and spent three nights on Nusa Lembongan. Every morning and evening we’d set out on the scooter, drone in hand, to capture various landscapes. The first image is one of my favorites shots from our time in Indonesia.

After several weeks of adventuring around Bali, we checked into the COMO Uma Ubud to relax. The property’s stunning verdant grounds blend seamlessly into Ubud’s iconic jungle backdrop.

We spent three blissful days going between our private pool suite, the infinity pool, exploring Ubud, and on early morning walks.

The property is ideally located between to the buzzing cultural hub of Ubud’s town center and the beautiful Campuhan Ridge Walk. And if you want to explore further into Bali’s interior, the property offers plenty of experiences like hiking along the smoldering Mount Batur volcano.
